Being able to produce the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show is truly an honor for the entire MCACN team. Being able to host so many of the true legends of our great hobby truly takes it over the top. Today we are pleased to announce that Peter Brock and his lovely wife Gayle will be joining us both days.

Peter Brock is probably best known for his design of the Corvette Sting Ray Prototype he penned for GM Vice President Bill Mitchell in ‘57,
which became the production ’63 split window Corvette,
and of course, the design of Carroll
Shelby’s ‘65 FIA World GT Championship
 winning Daytona Cobra Coupe.
While working for Shelby he also
created the iconic graphics used to
create Shelby’s famed, twin-striped GT350 Mustangs in ‘65.

Brock founded Brock Racing Enterprise (BRE) at the end of the ’65 season. At BRE his lines for the Sebring raced prototype Triumph TR250K, for British-Leyland in the UK, and a couple of sleek aerodynamic GT racing coupes for Toyota and Hino in Japan are still considered some of his best work. This trio of powerful V8-engined sports-racing prototypes built prior to the famed Can Am era are still remembered for their innovative ideas on improving aerodynamics as well as safety. In the ‘60s and ‘70s Brock’s ever innovative BRE race team won four Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) National Championships for Datsun (Nissan) against teams from BMW, Porsche, Triumph and Alfa Romeo using Datsun’s 240Z and 510 sedans.

Brock, along with his wife Gayle, has authored several books on racing history and automotive design as well as hundreds of articles in motorsports magazines worldwide. And that's just the beginning, as Peter is actively involved each and every day in a wide variety of projects. “With all the roles I’ve had in the industry, I’m first and foremost a designer. I can’t look at a design and not evaluate its racing capabilities and esthetics. It doesn’t matter what type of racing is involved because I’ve found that all racers are driven by the same desire to do something better
than the next guy.”

Peter will be with us Saturday and Sunday and will also be doing a "round table" discussion to talk about his incredible career on Saturday. Peter will also be signing his books and meeting fans and fellow enthusiasts. And just wait until you see what he will be sitting in front of!
